WhiteCoat is part of the

MOH Home Recovery Programme

WhiteCoat is proud to join the nation’s fight against COVID-19 as an official telemedicine provider.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

We understand that this can be a confusing time for you. Choose an option below that best describes your current health condition for guidelines on what to do next:

Teleconsult a GP on the WhiteCoat app

Stay calm and log in to the WhiteCoat app to teleconsult a GP immediately.

The attending WhiteCoat GP will be able to give you the required medical attention, and can also make a referral to a SASH clinic for your PCR test if necessary. Download WhiteCoat

[Optional] Select your AIA Corporate Insurance profile

If you are covered under an AIA corporate insurance policy, AIA will cover your initial teleconsult with a WhiteCoat GP if you are experiencing ARI symptoms (e.g. high fever, breathlessness).

Select your AIA Corporate Insurance profile to ensure that you enjoy this exclusive AIA Corporate Solutions benefit. ACTIVATE YOUR AIA CORPORATE INSURANCE PROFILE

Wait for your PCR test results

If you have been directed to take a PCR test by the WhiteCoat GP, make sure that you immediately return home after the test and self-isolate in a room, preferably with an attached bathroom, until you receive your results.

The results will be made available on your HealthHub app.
Thereafter, if you test negative, you can resume normal activities. If you test positive, you should expect to receive an Isolation Order (IO) SMS within 48 hours of your positive test result on HealthHub. Click here for guidelines on what to do if you have tested positive following your PCR test.

Isolate yourself for the next 72 hours

Ensure that you carry out the following steps:

  1. Immediately stop going to work and cancel your social activities to protect others from possibly being infected with COVID-19.
  2. Stay calm. There is no need to rush to a hospital to get tested. Doing so may expose you to more risk because there may be other infected people there.

3. Conduct another self ART test at the end of your 72-hour self-isolation.

If the results are negative, you can resume normal activities.

If the results are positive, continue to self-isolate and conduct a self ART test 2-3 days after. Whenever your next ART test returns a negative result, you may resume normal activities.

What if I begin to feel unwell during my self-isolation?

If you require medical attention during this period of self-isolation, please teleconsult a GP on the WhiteCoat app immediately.

The attending WhiteCoat GP will be able to provide the medical attention that you require.

FAQ

You will be placed on Health Risk Warning (HRW) for 7-day monitoring. Immediately self-isolate, and test yourself with an ART test kit on the day you receive the HRW SMS. Thereafter, upload the Day 1 ART result here. If you test negative, you may continue with normal activities for the day.
