Dr Deng Jin Leo had entered NUS Medical School in 2000 with the initial aim of becoming an ED Physician. However, it was his exposure to paediatric patients during his medical school years that helped him decide to take up a traineeship in Paediatric Medicine. He obtained his membership with the Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health in UK in 2012, and has been accredited as a specialist in Paediatric Medicine in 2016.
Since then, Dr Leo has been working at the Department of Children’s Emergency at KK Hospital, where he marries his love for both Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics as a Paediatric Emergency Physician.

Dr Grace Lim is a medical graduate from the National University of Singapore. She was awarded Membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the United Kingdom in 2012. Additionally, she went on to attain accreditation with the Specialist Accreditation Board as a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine in 2014, and was conferred her Fellowship in the Academy of Medicine of Singapore in the field of Paediatric Medicine in 2015.
Dr Grace Lim completed her postgraduate training and gained a wide range of experience at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in the Departments of Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric Subspecialties, Paediatric Intensive Care, Children’s Emergency and Neonatology. Prior to joining Thomson Paediatric Centre, she held the position of Associate Consultant Paediatrician in the General Paediatrics Service in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr Ong Ian is a proud graduate of the Royal Free and University College Medical School, University of London. She completed her postgraduate specialist training in Singapore at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in various departments including Paediatric Medicine, Neonatology, Paediatric Intensive Care, Children’s Emergency and Paediatric Subspecialties.
Dr Ong attained her postgraduate qualifications from The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK and is registered as a specialist in Paediatric Medicine with the Singapore Medical Council. Her clinical interests include nutrition in the early years and infant feeding.

Dr Kenneth Chua graduated from the National University of Singapore with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2001. He subsequently underwent his further training in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Singapore General Hospital in various departments including Paediatric Medicine, Neonatology, Children’s Emergency, Intensive Care and Paediatric subspecialties. He attained his postgraduate credentials with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and has been accredited as a Paediatric Medicine Specialist by the Singapore Medical Council.
While in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, he was awarded the Service from the Heart Award in 2011 and was actively involved in teaching medical students from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He believes in actively educating parents to better equip them in looking after their child who may be unwell.

Dr Lim is a Paediatrician with a special focus in Paediatric Emergency. He graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2004 and received his post-graduate Paediatric training at National University Hospital, Singapore. Subsequently, he attained his post-graduate specialist qualification at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and also has a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics from NUS.
Dr Lim trained and worked in Singapore’s two dedicated Paediatric Emergency Departments – KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) and NUH Children’s Emergency’s, where he was responsible for leading life-threatening emergency resuscitations and balancing multiple priority patients amidst the heavy patient load. Dr Lim has deep knowledge and experience in the rapid and accurate assessment, diagnoses and treatment of all kinds of paediatric emergencies, especially the management of very ill children and traumatic injuries such as lacerations and fractures. He is also well-versed in evaluating, treating and differentiating between medical, surgical conditions and traumatic injuries.
